The MCU's "Wanda Trilogy" Will Conclude With VisionQuest

Head of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige has described the Disney+ series VisionQuest as the end of Wanda's trilogy. This language could suggest a conclusion to her overall story, aligning with her Multiverse of Madness demise. However, it may simply mean the definitive end of the trilogy of shows that began with WandaVision.

The series, set to debut on Disney+ on Oct. 14, will feature Vision and Wanda's son Tommy, following Billy's return in Agatha All Along. The narrative is relatively unknown, but it seems likely Tommy will be attempting to reconnect with Vision and possibly seek information on Billy or Wanda.

This Conclusion Aligns With Wanda's Marvel Comics Story

If VisionQuest isn't the absolute end for Wanda, the comic miniseries Avengers: The Children’s Crusade provides a potential blueprint. Co-created by Allan Heinberg and Jim Cheung, it centers on the teenaged, reincarnated Tommy and Billy as they search for their mother.

In the comics, Billy and Tommy ultimately find Wanda living in Latveria with no powers, no memories, and married to Doctor Doom. With Doom set to be a central figure in Doomsday and Latveria confirmed to play a role, this arc could connect WandaVision, Agatha All Along, VisionQuest, and Doomsday. Some have speculated Wanda could be among the Latverian witches shown at D23.

Avengers: Doomsday Is The Right Time For A Return

Bringing Wanda back in Doomsday, which hits theaters on Dec. 18, 2026, feels like a logical step given the comic setup and fan demand. However, the film has a crowded narrative to cover, including introducing Doom and explaining Steve Rogers' return.

For that reason, the theory suggests her return might be a quick plot twist. This could be a brief scene towards the end of the movie or even in a post-credits scene, perhaps showing her in Latveria. With Avengers: Secret Wars coming out the following year, such a cliffhanger would not be a crushing wait for audiences.
